Awareness Program for Yanadi Tribal Women Fisheries Cooperative Societies

Today, ARD NGO organized a special program on livelihood and government schemes for Yanadi Tribal Women.
334 women members participated and submitted their needs – nets, boats, cycles, mopeds, weighing machines, livestock, rickshaws, salt pan culture, housing & drinking water facilities.
Yanadi Tribal Samkhya leader Smt. Bapatla Satyavathamma urged Collector garu to establish fish market outlets for Yanadi women.
Sri Himanshu Mishra, IAS, District Collector, assured that Yanadi issues will be given first priority.
Special thanks to JD Fisheries Smt. Shanthi garu who led the program in an organized way, and to all officers who guided the community.
Today, Yanadi women confidently interacted with officials, a big step towards empowerment and sustainable development.
